Halal Training Programme

In collaboration with Halal industry the Trust will conduct under mentioned short-term training workshop:

  • Training for Halal slaughterhouse supervisor.
  • Training for Halal slaughtermen.
  • Training for Food premises supervisor.

Halal Consumer Awareness Programme

The Trust will promote consumer awareness about Halal industry through media and promotional literature.

Prevention of cruelty to animals and clean environment

The Trust will promote awareness about prevention of cruelty to animals and clean environment through media, promotional literature and conferences.

Halal Research and Development Programme

The Trust will work for development and adoption of standard norms for Halal industry and slaughterhouses in India. For this purpose it will coordinate with various authorities dealing with Health, Hygiene and safety standards and Islamic bodies dealing with Islamic laws for Halal food.

2- One day training programme for HalalSupervisors/checkers Held on Friday 12, October 2012 at 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Delhi Chaired by: Maulana Mahmood Madani sb. Chairman JUHHT

The Observers were Janab Shakeel Ahmad Syed sb. Trustee Jamiat Ulama-i Hind Halal Trust, Dr. Nadeem, Asssistant Director live stock processing technology, Ministry of Food, Processing Industries. More than dozen Halal observers appointed by JUHHT working in various companies participated the event.

The orators and trainers mostly emphasized on Halal Slaughter procedure and requirements according to Islamic strictures, meat processing, handling and storage, hygene, health, cleanliness, Concept and general principle of Halal slaughter in Islamic Sharia. They trained the participants how to keep vigil while assessing halal slaughter procedure and ensure that Animal should be alive slaughter man must be a Muslim, recitation of Bismillah Allahu Akbar ,direction of Qibla while slaughtering, cutting of veins and arteries, use of sharp knife , hygienic condition, emergency slaughtering.

Faiyaz Ahmad Khan, Food Technologist Jamiat Ulama-i- Hind Halal Trust during inducting tipped off system to establish organizational structure, use of website as a tool identity card. He also spoke of importance of co-ordination between Halal Trust and Company in which you are appointed, record keepining including details of issued certificate etc. The programe concluded with dua of by Maulana Moiezuddin.
